Facebook Live Wednesdays!

Sometimes things don’t turn out exactly the way we planned.

As my husband and I say to each other, “life isn’t always rainbows and unicorns.”

Don’t you want it to be, though?

I had planned on having an hour or two to myself. It didn’t work out that way. I didn’t plan well for the camera to be supported by itself. I forgot about the “connect to the Internet” part, or I would have just left my laptop upstairs.

The song I started the video with is called “Stone.” I wrote it specifically for a woman I know who’s been going through some tough times. On Facebook one time she said “I won’t be someone’s stepping stone.” My brain said, There’s a song there. So I wrote it. I shared it with her; and I didn’t realize it then, but over the coming months she would play that song over and over. It made me feel really happy to hear that. I hope it helped her; I hope it made her realize there are people out here who really care about her.

I hope the Roku surprise turns out to be a cool surprise. Once it’s working, Roku really does work well. I’m a big proponent of Sling TV too; I don’t miss “Regular TV” at all.

I’d love it if you asked me some questions about cutting the cord on TV service. Please chat about it in the comments below.
